June 2nd... Well, today it's raining so there'll be no working Journey.
I thought it would be fun to ask for some input from our followers. What is an absolute necessity for a horse you would buy or own? Whether it be conformation, pedigree, breed, color, or training, what attributes or training must a horse have to be "good enough" for you?
For me, I prefer a horse with a good pedigree, but can appreciate any good built, good broke horse. As for training, I like a horse that is soft mouthed, sidepasses, backs, and lopes quietly. A good whoa is a must. Loading in a trailer and standing for the farrier are extremely important to me too.
When it comes to conformation, I like a nice head, good legs and feet, and preferably a big booty!
